COVID-19 Testing

Frequently Asked Questions

Care 4 U Community Health Center has enforced a few new policies in order to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19. We appreciate your cooperation during this time and are doing everything in our power to ensure that we keep the safety of the community as our top priority. Please view our policies here.

What are your Testing Hours?

Our testing hours are from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm Monday thru Friday except federal holidays. You must arrive by 12:00 noon.

What types of test do your provide?

We provide the Antibody test (whole blood finger stick) and Antigen test (a nasal swab). The Antibody test is ready in 15 minutes and the Antigen test is ready within 2-3 days.

Can I make an appointment?

No. Service is walk-in ONLY.

What documents do I need to bring to be tested?

You need to bring a Picture ID/State ID/Passport/Other forms of ID may be accepted. Minors must be accompanied by Parent/Guardian with an ID.

Is testing free?

  • Cost of testing is covered by most insurance plans or HRSA. Some insurance plans require prior authorization. Check with your insurance plan prior to arrival. If your insurance plan requires prior authorization, please present the prior authorization at the time of testing.

  • If you have insurance you must bring a front and back copy of your insurance card.

  • If you don't have insurance you will be asked to provide your Social Security Number or State ID which will be transmitted to the Department of Health and Human Service COVID testing who verifies all uninsured individuals' insurance status.

How do I get my test results?

  • Your antibody results will be available on site 30 minutes after your test is completed.

  • You can visit care4uchc.org and fill out the Results Request Form.

  • You can send an email to TestResults@care4uchc.org with your first and last name, date of birth and the date your were tested and Care4U will send your test results via an email.

  • Your antigen results are currently available 2-3 days depending on which of our laboratory vendors process your test specimen. You can create a patient account at the following laboratories to view your results QuestDiagnostics.com or LabCorp.com.

  • For faster results you may also opt to pay a fee to get the same day ANTIGEN results within approximately 2-3 hours.
